Welcome to ITNMS

Institute for Technology of Nuclear and Other Mineral Raw Materials (ITNMS) Belgrade, celebrated 60 years of its existence in 2008. ITNMS was founded in 1948. with the Yugoslav Government decision with the basic task of development research valorization of mineral raw materials and their metallurgical processing. A large scientific and professional, highly dedicated, task of research appropriations from the domestic uranium mineral and non-conventional raw materials and obtaining nuclear clean salt suitable for further processing into fuel elements was created.

To solve complex technological issues, institute was equipped with the latest equipment and it focused on developing personnel of various scientific and professional profiles (engineers, chemists, physicists, physical chemists, biologists, mechanical engineers).

With frequent changes of social and economic conditions, INTMS changed the scope and organization by adopting suitable conditions for survival and more efficient development.

Euraxess serbia

On June 29th, 2009, by signing the Declaration of Commitment, ITNMS became the Local Contact Point (LoCP) of Euraxess Services Network, set up by European Commission.

We proudly announce that the Institute for Technology of Nuclear and Other Mineral Raw Materials, ITNMS together with Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and Faculty of Chemical and Technology, University of Split, Croatia, was organized 9th International Conference on the Occurrence, Properties and Utilization of Natural Zeolites - Zeolite in 2014, which took place in the period from 8 to 13 June 2014 in Belgrade, Serbia.

Zeolite 2014 is the latest in a series of conferences organized under the auspices of the International Natural Zeolite Association - INZA, which traditionally held since 1976. when it was first organized in Tucson, Arizona, USA (Zeolite '76). After that, the conferences were held in Budapest, Hungary (Zeolite '85), Havana, Cuba (Zeolite '91), Boise, Idaho, USA (Zeolite '93), Ischia (Naples), Italy (Zeolite '97), Thessaloniki, Greece (Zeolite '02), Socorro, New Mexico, USA (Zeolite '06) and Sofia, Bulgaria (Zeolite 2010).

Belgrade conference - Zeolite 2014 has brought unified scientific papers from 40 countries around the world and welcomed more than 120 participants.
